Despite our
careful editing, every now and then errors occur in
StrateGems: incorrect
diagrams, stipulations, author names, etc. The purpose of this page is
to relay these to our readers immediately, especially solvers who
might otherwise spend unnecessary time and effort on originals. If you
see a mistake, please email your findings to:
errata@StrateGems.org.
The appropriate staff will be notified and, if applicable, a
correction will be posted here and in a future
StrateGems.
We have set up an Errata Notification
e-mail group for
Errata page
auto-updates. As corrections or additions are added to this page, we
will send an out an e-mail to everyone on the list that an error has
been posted. If you would like to be added to this list, please
click here and advise of your name and e-mail address.
When emailing the above group, please do not change
the subject line of the email. Include the following:
 | StrateGems volume, issue, and
problem number (i.e. Vol 7, SG26, April-June 2004, H20567). |
| Your errata finding (i.e. - listed as a h#7, but
should be a h#8; or, second composer left off; or, diagram shows ten
pieces (6+4) but only 9 pieces in the diagram; or, Black Pawn
missing from d4; or, piece on h5 should be a Grasshopper, not a
Lion; or, Circe condition omitted from diagram). |
